webwzrd posted the user-agent from his new Palm Pre:
"Mozilla/5.0 (webOS/1.0; U; en-US) AppleWebKit/525.27.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/1.0 Safari/525.27.1 Pre/1.0"
It is a WebKit based browser, with touch screen, so it should work really well with the iUI version of the theme.

Thanks for the info - I will have Virtualmin show the IUI mobile theme to the Pre in the next release.

I see that the IUI mobile theme for the Pre was included in today's updates. Very nice, it doesn't get better then this!
Still having one issue - not theme related, but concerning the "Force use of HTTP authentication" option. It won't recognize the login.

So did you find that you can't login unless "Force use of HTTP authentication" is enabled, or that you can't login at all?

I can login without using the forced authentication, but not with it.
The only reason I'm bringing this up is that the Pre has a bug in that it won't allow the typing of a symbol in a web text field and my current webmin password uses a symbol. This forces me to have to copy and paste my password to get it to work.
On the other hand symbols can be typed into the forced authentication fields, but that login option isn't letting me in.

Ok, thanks .. sounds like I will need to try out a Pre myself to see what is going on here.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help (short of mailing you my Pre).

Does Palm perhaps have some kind of pre emulator that can be run under windows?

I know it exist, because I can find references to it and screenshots taken form one, but I'm not sure it's been released to the public as yet.

...also, just to double check with you; I still need to have AppleWebKit in the "Additional user agents", otherwise it's not automatically picked up.

The issue with the Pre's user agent needing to be added to the 'Mobile Device Options' page will be fixed in the next Webmin release (1.490).

Jamie,
Palm just released the webOS Development Kit and my understanding is that it includes an emulator.
