Hi all,
I see that when you create a new server in Virtualmin, by default the DNS template creates an A record for m.domain.com.
I know I can remove this easily enough, but I am just curious to know what it's designed for?
Cheers,
Adam
Hi Adam,
The "m" stands for mobile. The thought there is that if you wanted to design your website so that it's optimized for mobile interfaces, you could have it's UI be display a certain way when a user browses to your site with that particular alias.

Makes perfect sense - many thanks!
