Cant login to 10000 because of ssl

I can not connect to the control panel i have edit /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf and set ssl=1 to ssl=0 but when i go to http:// i get always redirected to https://.

What do i need to change to get into http://server:10000

I have read a lot of this issue but nothing is working.

I install the following packages to set up webmin (on Debian - may be different names for other distributions).

libauthen-pam-perl libio-pty-perl libapt-pkg-perl libnet-ssleay-perl

Going to look at that in a few hours, but i do not have high hopes. The control panel worked until 8 days ago and nothing was changed in settings.

libauthen-pam-perl libio-pty-perl libapt-pkg-perl libnet-ssleay-perl are all on the latest version.

Firefox reports error: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG Chrome reports: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR Edge: Does not show anything.

I still cant access control panel and have no idea how to correct this issue.

I have again got control panel working.

What i did was the following:

  1. Ssl=0 use tutorials how to do this.
  2. Connect to control panel by ip address look for errors
  3. re-connect to control panel by ip address on https
  4. look at certificates
  5. Set correct certificates up mine was missing the server1.domain.tld i added it manual because it was not in the automatic settings any more.
  6. Look if everything works.
