Hello,
I request similar to Virtualmin the option of scheduling a system backup in the background option along with the backup now option presently in. think this should be useful too,
Rohit

scheduled backups do happen in the background already....at least in the pro version.

Howdy -- hescominsoon is correct, whenever you have a Virtualmin backup, it will indeed run in the background. That's the case in Virtualmin Pro and GPL.
If you're starting the backup manually, by going into Scheduled Backups -> BACKUP_NAME, there are two buttons on the bottom of that form there. You can start the backup in the foreground, or the background.
Let us know if that answers your question, or if you have any additional questions.

Hello my friends i am not talking about virtualmin, i am on cloudmin pro.. and the backup option ofcourse offers scheduled option. but unlike virtualmin pro cloudmin pro does not have an option for running the backup now in the background.
you can run it on foreground only.. Please have a look :)

Jamie, on the Cloudmin backup screen, it does appear that the only option is "Backup Now".
Is the "Backup in Background" option intentionally left out, or is that an option that could be added in there at some point?

Sure, that should be easy to add.

This has been implemented, and will be included in the next Cloudmin release.
